Wenger: It was the referees fault... He didn't stop the game when we were winning... IT should be a game of one half

Re: Newcastle v Arsenal
Alex Song wasn't playing (you are a dozy twat Eze, you really are)!
That was a shambolic display by my team (in the second half) and the ref (most of the time).
No excuses, just facts.
1)Barton went through the back of Arshavin late on in the first half, no free kick, no yellow card.
2)Barton went through Diaby, again no protection from the ref, no free kick, so Diaby reacted in the way I would have (in fact I'd have ripped the scrawny bastard's head off) - red card, no doubt, piss-poor refereeing too. That should have been Barton's second yellow, at least, but no, his brave "English spirit" allows him to get away with diabolical attacks.
3)We lost Djourou (that was the real problem IMO) and our defence couldn't handle the pressure.
Szczesney was great, so was Koscielny and, for both penalties, well, I had a problem to see why (but then I would, wouldn't I?).
4)Nolan wrestles Szczesney to the floor trying to get the ball after a pen - ref gives Szczesney a yellow (probably deserved for holding up the play) but gives nowt to Nolan, for exactly the same act that Diaby had been sent off for.
Again, piss-poor refereeing.
HOWEVER, ManU phucked up at Wolves, we gained a point - there is a God!

Re: Newcastle v Arsenal
I think the BBC comment on the game sort of sums it a up really......
1944: Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal
Paul Fletcher reports: "A quite unbelievable match - and one that could ultimately prove very costly to Arsenal's title ambitions. Arsene Wenger, of course, did not see most of the controversial incidents."

To add a note of accuracy, Wenger has refused to comment on the penalties and the sending off.
I think that's wise, because if he saw the game I saw he'd have to heavily criticise the referee for his handling (not) of the game - which would mean :
a) "Wenger's whinging again";
b) the foreigners don't like our Great Britich Spirit:
and I've have to put up with having to ignore or replying to stupid comments on here (Eze for example).
