That's a rubbish song.

Is that the best you can do?

Here's one to sing with pride on Sunday. I hope you'll all be joining in..........

As you go through life it's a long, long road
There'll be joys and sorrows too
As we journey on we will sing this song
For the boys in royal blue.
We're often partisan
We will journey on

Keep right on to the end of the road
Keep right on to the end
Though the way be long let your heart beat strong
Keep right on to the end
Though you're tired and weary
Still journey on 'till you come to your happy abode
With all the love you've been dreaming of
We'll be there. Where? At the end of the road.
Birmingham, Birmingham

Sing it loud. Sing it proud.

Birmingham City - The Pride Of Birmingham

How dare you say that's rubbish - it comes in at the end of Ian Dury's "Mash It Up Harry", a brilliantly-worded song. I dunno - you people with your re-worked WWI songs to suit your football team - really effin sad!

Yeah, it is a bit of a sad song in a way - written after Harry Lauder's son was killed in the war. It's also a rousing song though and I'm sure you'll come to love it.

Funnily enough, it caught on with Blues fans during an away trip to..................Arsenal!

Here's a bit of history for you:

We saw some of it in the Denmark in Barking Road, listened to some of it in the car, and caught the last 20 minutes at home. We're sort of happy anyway.......

Well played Brum, you were certainly up for it and our gift-goal in the end made up for the pen you should have had early doors.
