Going Bust!

Post  Avfc_4eva_Sotc on Fri Mar 04, 2011 11:12 am

Not helped by player and manager bonus payments for winning the Carling Cup, Mr Dog eater is having to raise emergency funds by putting his own personal property up as capital apparantly.

You have to laugh Wink

There's a bit more to it than that, unsurprisingly.

If I were you, I'd be worrying about Vile's finances. Not too healthy at all..........

While not perfect villa finances have improved over last years, no worry on having o pay the money back either.

If your owner is having to put his own assets up as capital to get loans to fund the club then I would say we are in far better shape then you.

It's a UEFA requirement - Clubs entering European competitions have to do it.

It's fine. Stop worrying.

It appears that two other teams would have to be going under as well as Brum for West Ham to have a chance of staying up

The problem Blues have, is when they sell a player, say Roger Johnson, for £5 million, they wont get paid that £5 million in one go, probably £2 million of it, some of which they will probably have to give to Johnson as he never asked to leave.

Could be shakey ground for Blues.

That £10 I had on them at 25-1 to get relagated again a month ago is looking a decent bet.

I dot reckon you will collect... They will be gone before then... I doubt your bet covers that

It does, as long as they are one of the three teams that are no longer playing in the division at teh end of the season.

I can cover my bet already but will wait for the odds to drop a bit.

There's not really anything in that article that we haven't already known for a while now.

You, of all people, should know this stuff already.

How is that "bull crap"?

If you read the article you'll see that Pannu himself admits that even he doesn't know the real situation:

“But I am not aware of their plans as to how they propose to full fill the financial distress posed by the relegation scenario and the freezing of Carson’s assets in Hong Kong."

So what exactly is there in that piece that you didn't already know?

I'm not denying that the financial side of things is bleak but I would urge you to keep calm and relax.
