i see fergie is talking about giveing him and the others loand out alot of games next season hes got bags of talent but fergie needs to be true to his word and play the fella in a good run of games and not just every other 5 games because a player like him needs to play most games to shine.

to be honest i think only him and cleverley look to have any sort of chance in the 1st team next season the rest just aint good enough
diouf and kiko maceda just dont look good enough long term drinkwater needs another season on loand then we will see..

The only reason he played is so that he couldn't join Ghana. Didn't deserve to have a full cap, has achieved nothing

Can't be too surprised at that vfl, villainies has a taste for the penii (plural of penis?)

I wish that caps were rightfully earned and that you could only play with the country you were born into. The irish team is a joke.

Nice to see Wellbeck doing the business for Man U. Wonder if chunky will still have his head up his backside this season re: his obvious quality?

Don't go nuts, he didn't do much apart from the goal, a fantastic finish it was, he can certainly score if given the chance.

Welbeck and Carroll are The Future. Carroll, lumbering about can put defenders off and he is capable of laying the ball off well and, of course scoring Traditional English Headers. Welbeck is extremely mobile, quick (thought and deed) and able to stretch defences and his club link with Rooney offers hope for success. I'd like to think we can finally forget the days of Peter Crouch and look, with some optimism to a decent strike-force for England, once we find the creativity that is sadly lacking at present (although hopefully Jack Wilshere will regain fitness and fill in on that front).
I think the future looks pretty bright for England - the above-mentioned plus Walcott, The Ox, Young (hopefully) - better than we've had for a long while.

Jpr the future holds a lot of promise but until we learn to keep possession we will always make things hard for ourselves..

Need to find one more top quality ball winner thou.. Rodwell maybe?

We don't have the players to keep possession against the top teams. Counter attacking football for a while yet. Roy's strength is that he's prepared to admit his team is inferior and sets it up as such.

Villainies, I did say after the French game that he had proved you right, thought he had a very good game. Thought he was average last night, but excellent finish. Great header by Carroll for the goal as well
