Fair play to the club and Houllier.

Bring in Mark Hughes and £200 in my pocket. My choices would be in this order -

Ancheloti (no chance)
Moyes (cant see it)
Hughes
Jol

I dont think that Ancelloti is "no chance". I think he would jump at the chance to carry on in the Prem as Id say he feels a bit hard done by in the manner of his sacking. As far as I read recently he wants to stay in England and was quoted just over a week ago stating that he would be happy to manage West Ham and that was after they were relegated.

Its a long shot, but I think he`s definately getable!

There are plenty of ex-managers and managers-without-management-jobs out there - e.g. Alan Shearer, David O'Leary, George Graham, Avram Grant - the list is endless..............

You missed Glenn Roeder, already at the club and deserves a promotion.

I think Hughes could be just what we need, he certainly wouldn't take any shit from players in the dressing room.

Pat Murphy is saying Hughes McClaren affraid and Rafa affraid affraid are the names in the frame.. Got to say none of them excite me.. Hughesbest out of the three.

Would much prefer a choice of Ancelloti, Jol, Moyes and Coyle...

A magnificent day.Cheerio Kermit, the worst manager since that Jock wanker McNeill. An expensive mistake by Lerner hiring Houllier hopefully this time we'll get the right man and with over 2 months until the season begins it's a great time to get a new man in.
