Will you be going to any of the extra games you have next season, due to being in one of the lower leagues?

I see he managed to get a couple of 'history' references in early on! Laughing

With McLeish in charge, that's how your success will remain - as ancient history.

He's your problem now.

Enjoy! Laughing

Ringo, I will have a £10 bet with you now that Villa are nowhere near relegation come the end of next season?

But this is the whole point, isn't it?

What we regard as success (a 9th place Prem finish) won't satisfy you lot. You think that you should be finishing top 6 every year and if you don't then it's a bad season.

The Cup win was brilliant and I'm sure you're hoping that McLeish can repeat it next season to end your trophy drought.

Well lucky for him he'll inherit some decent players rather than the carthorses down at the sty. He'll also be able to attract better players that want to play in the higher reaches of the premiership. Something for your lot to consider over the next few seasons in the Championship.

Would these be the 'carthorses' that McLeish signed?

Got to say the fact that he managed to get your rabble to a 9th place finish (is that your highest ever finish) and a league cup win makes me wonder whether Randy is right and we are wrong. Maybe for the first time, the ginger minge may become fashionable Wink

You brought them up to be good judges of character then.
