Apparently was begging to come back to Villa, but told to go forth and multiply

Good signing for Sunderland though, selling Henderson for 20 million and getting Gardner in for 6 million. Always liked Gardner and thought MON should have played him more.

Gardner can shoot, I will give him that but other then that there wasn't much going for him.

If you actually read posts instead of being a complete knob, I mentioned that it was alleged that he wanted to come back to Villa but was told to go forth and multiply. Where I gave my personal opinion in that I dont know. In the post following ROT, I stated that he would be a good signing at Sunderland. Nothing on the fence about that, the only time I have been sitting on the fence lately is when I have not mentioned how you dont pay your dues
