Reading between the lines I'd say eck called him in and read him the riot act. He's got to sort his act out or he's gone at the next opportunity.

I think Houllier was at fault for a lot of things last season, but Dunne, was shit before Houllier came in. K McDonald was playing him ahead of Cueller when Dunne was absolutely shocking. Apparently he was injured but still.

Big season for Dunne, I'm prepared to give him another chance and hope that Houllier was at fault for how shite the defence was.

That maybe true, but I still feel Dunne has a lot to prove this season, his form has been poor since the Carling Cup final.

Personally I think ROT is ok. What's he done to upset you QB? Very Happy

I have highlighted the part that upset him, I should have said "Houllier was at fault for everything"

The only reason he is still at the club is that we can't afford to let him go cheaply and buy someone else.

Watching Warnock today showed how ridiculous it was he wasn't given another chance last season. He was rightly dropped but when we were play Baker and Delph at left back he surely could have been given another chance.

Maybe something to do with his attitude ROT, though Houllier did seem to pi55 off a fair few people. Havent seen the game, but the lad said the defence looked organised

That was just it though.By all means drop the player if he's not performing but with Kermit he had personal agendas. He did it with Fowler at Liverpool as well.We struggled last season and whilst Warnock isn't the best left back in the world he's the best at our club and like Dunne he's never seemed to be a disruptive influence under any other manager. If McMinge can get Warnock and Ireland performing he's saved £15m

There was certainly history from Liverpool between the two. I think Warnock is a good left to be fair so long as he has the right attitude.

Warnock did become piss poor after his Englsnd call up. If he can get back to a good level then that saves us money in transfer Market.

Same for Ireland. We def need a creative spark. Let's hope he realises this is his last chance and he takes it.

That's the thing I have never understood with Warnock, I have never seen a game when he hasn't given 100%. I have seen games when he is shit but he always tries.

Seems strange that the players who fell out with Houllier were the ones he made a big deal out of wanting them to move closer. McLeish has said the same thing and it seems to have been accepted. Maybe its because he hasn't arranged for his first signing to be chaffuer driven from London.

He's quite fast as well. Gets down the wing with speed, like Walker did last season.

His attitude has been top notch in both our friendlies so far, certainly no need to replace him if he maintains it.

I remember him playing centre midfield for Blackburn under Ince and Allardyce and he didn't look out of place. The furore over getting McMinge seems to have died down now and with Given and soon to be N'Frogbia onboard there seems to be a positive vibe about the place. However, lose at Fulham............ Very Happy
