Derby Away

Post  Tilton on Mon Aug 08, 2011 1:11 pm

Disappointing result but a very encouraging display.

Same as the previous game against Everton, we created loads of chances but didn't have the players on the pitch to finish them. With 3 out of 4 of our strikers injured and unavailable it's not surprising though.

Both Derby goals were a little unfortunate too. The first went in off Curtis Davies' shoulder and the second took a deflection that deceived Myhill.

Derby had a couple of other chances but overall we dominated most of the game and should have won this one easily.

Great to see us playing attacking football away from home. Chris Hughton really has changed our style of play for the better.

Home against Cov next game.

Very Happy Yeah, he's been shit in both games he's played so far.

I'm hoping that he's just out of practice and will improve pretty quickly!

You would hope that with a bit of coaching they might drum it into him that he is allowed to use his hands to save the ball.

That would be a start, yes.

Our goalkeeping coach, Dave Watson, has a very good reputation for getting the best out of keepers. Both Joe Hart and Ben Foster have said how good he is and how he has improved their game.

He's going to have to be good from what I've seen so far of Boazo.

Stay the course agent Myhill, only 45 games to go until mission accomplished.

From what I have seen of Boazo in the past, you will do better putting Dave Watson in goal.

Very Happy I'll give him another couple of games before I agree with you.
