Ins and Outs

Post  villainies on Wed Aug 31, 2011 10:53 am

This list isn't even complete but a quick glance tells us all we need to know. Yes we need to sort the wages out but at what cost? Our squad and first team have been significantly weakened this summer. Is Randy getting the club ready to put up the FOR SALE sign?

In

Out

Makoun

We released 10 players before Friedel A.Young L.Young and Downing left as well so he has missed loads if he wants to get dramatic.

The only significant loses have been Ashley Young and Downing in my opinion, the others was either shite or never played anyway so whats to miss.

The loss of NRC and Makoun is significant in the context of having no replacement. Neither were good enough but Makoun at least was signed to try and fill a very obvious weakness we have in the midfield. Its still there, it needs addressing and can't be filled by what we already have.

It will be a massive surprise if we don't get in another central midfielder, but with regards to Makoun going, I think McLeish also saw Clark ahead of him, and he would probably also play Herd instead of him as well.

He must be ok surely? I never seen anything to make me think he was any good. But he obviously has some talent in there.

I have said before, I saw him in a bad in London once wearing a copy of the red Michael Jackson Thriller jacket, what a wanker.

Bannan and Delph are good players to have in the squad and give games to, but neither are first names on the sheet. Sadly neither is Petrov these days and there lies the problem....our midfield is very weak.
