Nobody apart from Blackburn came in for him.

I bet he's gutted, poor bloke. He deserves better than that.

The look of disappointment on his face as he was being interviewed last night said it all.

In: Pablo Ibanez - rated by Baggies fans and hopefully will do a good job.

In: Wade Elliott - decent enough at this level and versatile.

Out: Scott Dann - our best centre back but was expected to be sold. I'm sure he was hoping to be signed by a club challenging for honours but has ended up at Blackburn instead. Good luck.

Out: Cameron Jerome - again, expected to be sold. Had great potential when he arrived 5 years ago but 2 successive managers have ruined him. 100 % effort but nowhere near enough goals.

When they said they'd agreed a fee with Blackburn i fully expected someone to come in and trump it.Very surprised he's gone there

I bet he was too. He'll have to wait until next summer for his big move now. Unless he goes in January, of course.

He's had a pretty serious injury so I would imagine that clubs will be keeping an eye on him to see how he's recovered.

If Villa had any money to spend AM would've taken him, no doubt about it.

That would have been more disappointing than having to go to Blackburn for him.

If that's possible.

I think that was why McLeish wanted rid of Cueller, to try and get Dann in.

Tilton, what are your thoughts on Myhil now? Surely it's worth giving Doyle another run in the team.

That's a tricky one, ROT.

Myhill has looked like our weak link so far. He's already cost us a couple of goals. The alternative, as you say, is bringing Doyle back in. He's hardly played in the first team for a couple of seasons now and looked low on confidence and a bit indecisive last time he played.

He did ok in the Championship for us last time though and made that crucial penalty save against Wolves to help us get promoted. I think that Hughton will stick with Myhill for a few more games to see if he improves but many more shaky performances and Doyle may well get his chance.
