Yep, unfortunately I thnk we'll just get them two. Unless AM can pull a rabbit out of a hat.

That would be Bugs then!

Maybe he's there as cover or even to replace Petrov?

What happens if Delph or Petrov gets inured. We needed another central midfield.

What about Ireland he must be costing a bit, plus Clarke can deputise there, otherwise if it's just cover might as well have kept makoun

McLeish didn't rate Makoun though so no point in keeping. I don't think Ireland can play in a central midfield two, well I know he can't because it's been tried. Need some experience if we lose Petrov.

Looks like we have got Hutton and Jenas, not that exciting, but realistically not bad signings for us I suppose. Jenas is a player who seems to flatter to deceive a lot, maybe he needs a run of games. Scored a few cracking free kicks from memory. Hutton is good going forward, pacy, not sure defensively mind.

Only (good) memory I've got of Jenas is when he scored the last goal of the Arsenal-Spurs game a couple of seasons ago. It was either a late equalizer or a late winner.

What do you lot reckon about the formation now then lads?

Could go with;

-----------Given------------
Hutton Collins Dunne Warnock <------ That line of defence isn't bad AT ALL.
----Jenas--Petrov--Delph---- <------ Energetic midfield because of Jenas/Delph, Petrov can just sit back/holding role
N'Zog------Bent------Gabby- <------ Dangerous attack.

Bench: Guzan, Clark, Herd, Ireland, Albrighton, Heskey, Delfouneso.

-----------Given
Hutton Collins Dunne Warnock
-------Petrov Delph---------
N'Zogbia---Heskey---Gabby
------------Bent-----------

I'm going to be a no 1 this evening of the 7 Creatures of the Transfer Window. Very Happy
