Gabby

is 8 goals away from equalling Dwight Yorke's record for most goals scored in the PL for Villa.

PL stats:

Yorke had 60 goals, in 179 appearances

Gabby has 52 goals, in 184 appearances.

C'MON Gabby cheers

Difference truevillan is Gabby seems to love the club, a la Ian Taylor. He may go for more money, but think we are more likely to keep him to be honest

One good performance against Norwich and he's Lionel Messi. Very Happy Pace monkey and not much else.
Conveniently forgotten how shite he was last season then?

Thought you had grown out of the wind ups.

Didn't you use the one good performance line earlier this season, Gabby has been playing excellent all season, you haven't watched him if you think he only has pace, his hold up play is excellent and as proved by the number of assists he has he can cross a ball as well as score.

Shite last season? The frog wouldn't play him thats nothing to do with gabby, and when he finally did give him a go he scored the winner at your shed to help you on your way down Woohoo

31 appearances, fcuking hell was he paid to keep the bench warm or something. Hardly any games there. Any player with his pace will get into dangerous positions but he doesn't have the brain or technical ability to be anything special.

Top scorer 2 seasons ago when we finished 6th, top scorer at the moment to, stat the other day that he has more assists then any other english striker.

Still I'm sure he is gutted what you think of him, there he is being paid £50k+ a week a millionaire, but doesn't have the approval of Jwneds worst player evaluater, gutting.

Hows that A.young getting on these days, shit as well I believe Very Happy

I'm intrigued, what did you think of Dwight Yorke?

Oh and here's a stat (from Opta) for Gabby to shut Eze up:

Opta Sports on Twitter: "Gabriel Agbonlahor has now scored a goal against 26 of the 30 different teams that he has faced in the Premier League. Collection."

Cool

So fecking what? He's been playing for what, 5 full seasons now? From a striker, you'd expect them to score at least once against a team if he's faced most of them at least 5 times.

5 goals and 6 assists this season? Did all of that come against Norwich? Tosspot

If you had watched Villa much this season, which there is no reason for you to, you would realise that he is far more than just about pace this season and he has looked like a better football than I think a lot of Villa fans even gave him credit for.

He is playing well, although not quite as brilliantly as some comments I've read make out. I'll be more interested to see how he gets on in some of the games we have coming up to measure how far he has improved.

We seem to have had both Mark and Jesus comment that we can't talk about our team winning a game because its against Norwich.

Since Norwich is in the premierleague and was above us up to the game on Saturday then I hope that they dare not comment on any game West Ham plays well in as obviously and good performances by their players are null and void given that the opposition is weaker then Norwich every single week.

Perhaps we should all start jumping on the West Ham board and pointing out to them that none of their players are Messi just because they score against Brighton/Derby, Leicester or any other shite championship team.

It's relative to a team's level you tit. Tosspot
If a Ryman League team beat a League 2 1-0 everyone would say it was a fantastic result, but if a Premier League team did it they'd be slated for a shite performance.

That is a brilliant analogy. Just to check something, can you confirm to us what division Norwich and Villa are in?

So you're saying Villa and Norwich are on the same level? A top flight team since the Premiership's inception and a team who were in League 1 a couple of seasons ago. Yeah alright then.
