Spurs tonight

Post  Jay.P.A on Mon Nov 21, 2011 7:25 pm

Could be a great game tonight.

We'll probably get mullered, but should be a good spectacle.

Just got a bit of team news, Cuéllar is playing right back today, and is Hutton is playing in midfield, on the right - McLeish just said we've go the option to got 3 at the back or 5 when needed. All this to prevent Bale and Van Der Vaart running wild on us.

Doesnt say much for your managers confidence if you are going to put 5 at the back..... I think its going to be close and could in reality go either way....

I'd like to see Villa get something out of this (course I would) but I reckon the best you can hope for is a draw (which is a fair result). Hey, it's football, anything can happen!

"Fair" as in not too bad under the circumstances, rather than the one at Scarborough or the wind at the coast (oiy Frenchie, you feelin' a bit of the old PMT tonight or is it footbal nerves?)!

He's about 33 I'd say - yes, he does seem to have been around doesn't he? Unlike lots of his clubs' fans I actually admire Heskey - I used to really rate him when he was at Leicester (and I think The Arsenal were briefly interested in him then), reminding me of Kevin Campbell - he does a lot of work, takes a lot of stick and still gets the job done, IMO.

McLiesh does rather seem to make the worst of a bad job, doesn't he (a rhetorical question)?

This is depressing stuff.. We have Spuds 4th Choice RB playing RW for us ahead of Albrighton.

Heskey on the other wing.

Mcminge needs to get the **** out of our club!

We got smashed by Man City reserves n ur winning comfortably against us. Haven't played any of the other top 6 pretenders.

The rest are mediocre teams so not a big thing to be eighth really.

But it makes it worse when it's dull negative football.
