Very proud yes! Our goalie played a blinder by all accounts
Havent seen any footage myself today, but have heard that Milijas beeing straight red carded was a little harsh? But then again that was on some of the Wolves forums
Think we did a great job to not conceed anymore after going down to 10 men tho! Well chuffed! Especially as i thought The Arsenal were going to give us a right good spanking!
What do you reckon Jak and JPR?

From what I have read Arsenal were lucky not to have finished with nine players... Apparently there was a bit of petulant stamping going on

Good battling performance by Wolves.
What on earth was Attwell doing sending off the Wolves lad for an honest challenge yet only books Song for two challenges within a couple of seconds that both deserved straight red cards. The second one especially was awful and hopefully Wenger will be honest enough to admit the same.

Re: Arsenal
Well done Wolves - especially your keeper, he played a blinder. We should have won but with a keeper like that one can only admire - we dropped two valuable points but you've gotta hand it to the man between the posts, a brilliant display.
Without him we'd have been 4 or 5 goals to the good!
Ref was appalling - the red card was perhaps a yellow. He seemed to be completely out of his depth "You don't know what you're doing!" ringing loud around the Grove from all supporters. At one stage, we had a free kick, Arteta was pretending to line it up, RvP was obviously gonna take it, but the ref stood in RvP's way. RvP had to jog up and tell him to shift his arse and any surprise was lost (keeper saved it well)!
I was truly shocked with Song - clearly he'd had enough, having been brought to his knees by a trip that the ref, standing right there didn't see - Song got up, won the next 50-50 with a strong challenge plus follow-through, the ball bobbled about, Hunt challenged and Song decked him too - two "old-fashioned" (think Peter Storey/Dave Mackay) tackles, the ref blew and gave him a yellow - I'd expected red (tbh I didn't mind Hunt getting whacked, he'd been needling around the park all evening). Strange, I didn't see Song as that sort of player - a bit lazy and likeable - clearly he'd had enough of bad refereeing too.
Overall a good, rather one-sided match - more like a cup-tie.

Very one-eyed. It's not the ref's (who wasn't great by any means) fault Song put in two tackles that if put on an Arsenal player, you'd be calling for a life time ban.

I said I was shocked - I've never seen anything like that from Song before - I'm assuming he, like the rest of us (fans and players) were fed up with such poor refereeing (Song had previously been caught in front of the ref, the foul ignored, so it was red-mist time I imagine). RvP, Vermaelen, Song, Arteta all had moans at the ref during the match - no doubt so did plenty of Wolves players - it was as bad a performance as I've seen for a while and I've seen some pretty damned bad shows in recent times. Neither of the tackles from Song caused injury, it was the sort of stuff your hard-men used to get up to in the good-old-days, body-through-the-player, knock-him-down stuff. The red card was given for a follow-through with studs up which caught Arteta mid-shin - far more dangerous even if not intentional but it probably wasn't worth a red (unless the ref had already had a word for previous - I dunno, he kept calling people over and admonishing them, useless git)!

Come on JPR for one admit it your players got narked again not being allowed to do as they liked and did their usual and resorted to lashing out at the other team.... Its not the first time this has happened..

Someone should make a note of this for next time someone dares tackle an Arsenal player. I agree the Millias tackle was potentially more dangerous, but that was due to mistiming by about half a second. Song went in with intent.

Re: Arsenal
Have to say I have seen poor challenges from Song in the past JPR, but agree with the comment re yellow card for the Wolves lad. As for that Attwell, he seems to have been pushed to be good at a young age, but failed miserably. Not a patch on that Oliver guy who is also young

Didn't Song get banned for stamping earlier in the season?

Yes, but it was only Joe Barton, so does that count
