Wigan

Post  villainies on Mon Feb 20, 2012 12:47 pm

Bottom of the table and won only one game at home all season. This next run of 3 games is pretty much make or break for AM. A poor run of 3 points or less and we will find ourselves somehow in the tomtit. The Bolton games has been moved so the following 5 fixtures would be

Arsenal
Chelsea
Liverpool
Stoke
Man U

affraid

Come on Eck, get these chumps playing to their ability 7 points absolute minimum from these 3 fixtures, then finish the season well with the pressure off. cheers

9 from 3 ??? thats wheeey too much for the Ginger one, Villa play such poor footie now but have been allowed to all go on holiday during the FA break ?? and Eck has gone to the USA to chat to a manager in charge of the Browns at the expence of the club ?? beggers belief really, i would have them doing extra training such as defending corners etc:... as they need it !!

I think anything less than a 6 point return and we are well and truly in trouble. One club every season seems to slip under the radar into trouble and the way we are going it could be us this time.No doubt we'll miss Keane and though he has his critics, Dunne is a real miss for the next two months.Against Man City we looked like a relegation side.Ok it was City, but there was no belief, no desire to have a go.McLeish was up against it from the start but setting up the side like that at home has pretty much done for him.A change in attitude from the gaffer is the first thing that needs addressing

I agree with you jpa. We have really got to be looking for the full 9. I don't think its out of the question esp. if we get off to a good start this weekend.

Given

Hutton Cuellar Collins Clark

N'Frogbia Petrov Gardner Heskey

Keane

Bent

Reckon Gabby will be on the bench and Clark or possibly Baker will come in for Warnock.Really need to win this one today.Of the sides below us I can only really see QPR picking up points this weekend and three points today therefore gives us a nice 10 point cushion.Whilst being pissed off with results it's only been the last couple of weeks where i've started to get concerned about the possibility of relegation.Never thought that a game with Wigan would be the biggest game of our season but that's the reality unfortunately.

Nzogbia left out today, why? I know he been a bit inconsistent but last few games he has been the most dangerous player on the wings and most likely to provide an assist especially against his old club.

I fecking hate mctwat.

Surely no one can defend Mctwat now, I don't care that he lost Young and Downing at the start of the season, he has the players to be at the very least in mid table, he is a joke.

How bad did Bent's injury look? If he's out for the season, where will Villa get the goals from?
