Blackburn...another success

Post  truevillan on Sat Mar 03, 2012 6:39 pm

...yes another success for McGinge .....we didnt lose ! thats all he aims for but draws dont get you very far they get you relegated, and what did he say to them at half time ? "go and defend that goal" thats how they played instead of going all out and clinching the win , although Gabby was unlucky its just another Saturday with Villa .....boring Rolling Eyes

First half we shouldve been out of sight.. Blackburn were shite..

The team he picked wasn't bad.. but second half was some old story..

Still got a while to put up with this tripe..

If he had started them last week we might have had 4 points from the 2 instead, the man is clueless.

More chance Mark or Lutes getting a BJ.

Six wins all season when you have some of the attacking talent we do shows the managers talent.

Some WBA fans were questioning Hodgson a few weeks ago, same with Pulis at Stoke, now they are both sets of fans are thinking of Europe.

Some fans will never take to McLeish and he probably isn't the right man for the job but we are stuck with him and reports are that he isn't going anywhere so might as well support him otherwise we will just end up like Blackburn.

There's only 9 points between 7th and 15th in the PL, so if a team can string a run of results together it can make a big difference.
Why not Villa? They're not playing so bad.

I agree, two games at home against Fulham and Bolton are both winnable, our home form has been poor though. Apparently we played well in the first half against Blackburn, should have been 3 up at half time but their keeper played well and we had a bit of poor finishing.

Also wanting him out after a such a short period without chance to build a team is just as bad as Chelsea or Newcastle IMO. We finished 9th last year, sold two top players and didn't do much in the transfer market. It was always going to be tough however IMO we're at the lowest point this squad should reach and the last two games haven't seen us pull away as we'd hoped. Two more to come that we should be looking to get points from, he must get something out of this team before the end of the season. 15th would mark a failure for me.
