Michael Owen

Being reported that he will be released by ManU as his contract is up next month.

Would you have him in your squad? Maybe on a pay as you play type deal?

Nope, not at Villa, the problem for a smaller clubs is then it all becomes about Michael Owen been on the bench other than the rest of the team.

Any day of the week. He's still a class act in the penalty area.

His injury record would worry me. We need reliable. Yes yes, I know we've got Carlton Cole....

I think any contract he's offered now would be pay as you play. I still think he's one of the best finishers in the league.

I agree. You can take a chance on a player from a lower division eg Baldock who'll cost a transfer fee plus wages to sit on the bench or you can take a proven goalscorer in Owen.

I don't expect he 'd want to come to us, anyway.

Neither do i to be honest. I think he'll want to stay up north. He's got 4 kids and they'll be settled in their schools, plus his interest in horses. I've got a feeling that we may see him at Everton.

OOPS!!! He's pulled a hamstring cleaning his teeth. OOPS!! His achilles has gone, making a cup of tea.
The blokes a liability. He should hang up his hamstrings and call it a day. He must have made bundles out of not playing.
