Ron Vlaar...

Post  ADRIAN_1976 on Mon Jul 16, 2012 8:46 am

According to various reports and even a picture shows that the Feyenord Captain and his agent were at Villa Park yesterday.

Hes a CB which we desperately need.

Price being touted is 6-8M. Let's see what develops in coming days...

Loving Lambert right now, no homo.

Did anyone see El-Ahmadi's performance against Burton? He was class. Dictating, composed, made space for himself all the time, can pass, and very energetic.

Haven't seen much of Ron Vlaar, a couple of a appearances in the Euros, and I've seen 1 or 2 Feyenoord games (He's their captian), but didn't really notice Vlaar doing anything good or bad.....Heard he is a good defender though, can read the game, and likes to keep the ball down and play football, he has two good feet.

I know, unlike Hutton...who has none.

Good news on the Hutton front - he's left out of the 25 man squad that has left for USA for the pre season friendlies cheers

Appearenlty we've signed Robert Snodgrass according to a few "ITK's" on twitter.

We're looking for players with the right attitude - players who want to play for the club.....not mercenaries.

Certainly seems a feel good factor back at the club, especially in the dopey slaphead womanisers eyes, who thinks we should be competing for RVP and Modric. Most of us see that Lambert has come in and immediately imposed himself on the club. There will be more signings when they come back from America, and no doubt two or three going out as well.

Confirmed as signed by the club.

According to reports he is costing us £3.2 million, surely he can't be any worse than James Collins? Surely?
