Arsenal + Reading home and transfer window..

Post  ADRIAN_1976 on Mon Nov 19, 2012 12:41 pm

Think we need 4 points from these two games.. three is a min.. things are starting to look a bit dodgy for us now.. 9 points from 12 games means in the next 26 games we need another 36 points to get to 45 points.. which would also mean we have been involved in a relegation battle..

The Jan transfer window will be interesting.. on most message boards people say we need experience.. but with the wage structure we have in place who can we get in who's experienced and isn't a stop gap.. and more importantly who would come to us right now.......

Offer the right wages and they'll come to the club. We'll be a relegation battle all season now anyway. Time to show some character and get on with it. The way we collapsed after conceding that penalty on Saturday was ridiculous. That cannot happen again as it might be the case that goal difference could keep us up. As it stands we're fcuked unless we keep our heads up when things are going wrong.

QPR offered the right wages, no guarante there and if they go down they could end up right in the shite if their backers pull out.

It's not the first time we have been spanked by Man City, we certainly need to put some results together. 8 points from the next 4 games it what is needed. Still think we will be clear of the drop zone by January.

Did anyone on here say we would be stronger after MON left us 5 days before the start of the season? That was two seasons ago, you do speak some utter shite.

Glen Roeder or Avram Grant could get Man City relegated.

Yes your right when Alex Mcliesh took over you could tell by all of our reactions that we thought we would get stronger under his management....

All through Houllier's season you were saying "next season we'll be better" then all through McCleish's season it was "We'll be stronger next season once he goes"

Why bother lads, Jesus has an excellent record at predictions let him have his little moment, business as usual 'next year' or perhaps the 'year after' Woohoo

We said that because Houllier was in charge. Who knew Mcminge would ever come to us.. Your talking twaddle again.. Granted we thought this season we would be better then last and it hasn't been a great start but we will know more come Jan 1st..

Just goes to show how unbearably smug him Mark and Ringo would've been if they finished above us season after season and we had been relegated considering how there creaming there pants for the last two months..

I've drawn up my transfer list Very Happy

CB.. Dawson ideally if not then Douglas.. looks a decent player and wages will be cheaper..

DM.. Kvist who plays for Stuttgart.. looks good.. depends if he would come thou.. Frimpong maybe from Arsenal or what about Scot Parker.. is he injured or out of favour with AvB..

Wingers.. Ince or Phillips from blackpool.. if not then maybe Downing on loan..

ST.. Abumeyang.. really highly rated but we could still get him in like we did Benteke.. would be a difficult one.. otherwise Bony.. he said in summer we wanted him and has a goal a game this season..

Obv unrealistic to get all of them in.. would need upwards of 20M.. but if Bent was to go and we had 10M from Randy then do able in Jan and Summer..
