This is thhe same Everton who last week were not big enough for Martinez according to Dave Whelan, the Wigan chairman (does anyone realise he broke his leg in FA Cup final).

He wanted to go to Real Madrid, but Sir Dave decided that they were not big enough for Roberto either, saying Everton were a far bigger club and the only club in the world he would have left Wigan for
